Enrique Cervera Bernatovich (México DF, 1961) es Fotógrafo, Escritor y Productor. Vivió en París, Francia de 1981 a 1986. En esa ciudad realizó estudios de Literatura Francesa en la Universidad de Paris I (Sorbonne) y de Administración Económica y Social en Paris XIII (Villetaneuese). En 1986 cambió su residencia a la ciudad de Nueva York, EUA, donde cursó la licenciatura en Bellas Artes con especialidad en Fotografía en Parsons School of Design, institución educativa dependiente de la New School for Social Research. Durante sus 18 años de residencia en esa ciudad, fue asistente de tiempo completo de las fotógrafas de renombre mundial Annie Leibovitz y Mary Elen Mark; así como asistente free-lance de otros, entre ellos, Deborah Turbeville, Sarah Moon, Arnold Newman, Steven Klein, etc. En su carrera profesional como fotógrafo ha trabajado para varias publicaciones y agencias de publicidad entre las que se encuentran Jazz-Hot Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, J. Walter Thompson, Grey Advertisement, Ogilvy & Mather, entre otras. Como artista ha tenido 20 exposiciones en 5 países diferentes, 16 de grupo y cuatro individuales. Asimismo, ha participado en infinidad de proyectos de cinematografía, video, performance, conciertos, conferencias, ferias, y demás eventos artísticos y culturales. Le apasiona la permacultura, la bio-arquitectura y temas relacionados. Ha participado activamente en las comunidades donde ha vivido, trabajado en diversas organizaciones no-gubernamentales y publicado periódicos y revistas entre varias otras actividades. |
